... still missing my classmate and friend. Continue to rest well "D-Hova."

I miss my work buddy, my friend. Lopez had the kindest spirit.

Although years have passed... I refuse to delete Daves (aka D-Hova) old cellphone number from my phone. He was such a phenomenal individual; he was the strength in our SXU cohort. He is still missed.

Dave was such an inspiration to our cohort at Saint Xavier University. He always made each situation appear to have a "happily ever after." His actions earned him the nickname of "D-Hova." He is missed. We send our prayers and condolences to his family, fiancee', and friends.

Dear Brother Dave of Phi Kappa Theta (Alpha Omega Chapter)it is always a tragedy to lose a brother, considering you were the first brother I have known to pass, I find this even more saddening. We may have only met once but I will always remember it, it was Marty's Bachelor party and you showed the manlier side of a chocolate martini which became the drink of the night. I pray that your family finds resolve in this trying time and will pray for them and also our chapter which is deeply saddened by your passing. WE love you and always will.

Dave was a wonderful person I was lucky to meet and get to know while attending grad school. He was very smart, thoughtful, and eloquent. The thing I will remember most about Dave was his laugh; it was such an endearing laugh. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Dave has given me some good childhood memories. My first snow mobile ride, Valentine's Day dance date, playing pool at his house, and bowling are just a few. Dave always smiled, laughed, hugged, and was very smart. Loved, missed, and remembered by many, until we meet again Dave, watch upon us all :)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jen and to Dave's family. So sorry for your loss.

Mr. Lopez as I always called him, was a class act. He will long be remembered in the hearts of many.

My heart is grienving for all of Dave's friends and family at this time. He was an amazing man with heart of pure gold. I will hold his memory and his smile with me always, and miss his warm hugs greatly. I pray for comfort and strength for his family and others who were blessed to have Dave in their lives.

Dave was not just a co-worker, but a great friend to many. His sense of humor, generosity, and smile will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Jen and the Lopez family during this difficult time.

David was a good friend, teacher, and mentor to the many staff members and students of Dolton District 148. His friendship, smile and laughter will truly be missed. Praying for comfort for Jen and the entire Lopez family during this difficult time.

Dave was a great guy. He had a positive influence on many of the students at Lincoln. He will be missed by everyone in District 148. My deepest sympathies go out to Jenn & his family.

Dave was a wonderful colleague. His calm spirit afforded us the opportunity to work well together as a team. I was so happy that Dave and Jen found each other. Dave will be missed, but he will be remembered with fond memories. I pray that God will comfort you Jen and the Lopez family.

Dave was a WONDERFUL man. He will forever be remembered for his wit, charm, intelligence, charisma,and the love he showed to all those around him - especially his parents, fiance Jen, niece Hailey, his dogs, and brother Matt.
