Braverman, David 83, beloved husband and best friend of Rochelle (nee Wenikoff), loving father of Janice Glazer and Cheri (Howard) Bulmash and Allen Braverman (deceased), devoted grandfather of Lisa (Brad), Jennifer, Lorin, Alex, Allen and Michael and great-grandfather of Josh, Aaron and Lily, dear brother of Marge Holt and the late Sylvia Berger, Arnold Braverman and Lillian Abramson. Services Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Weinstein Funeral Services, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60604 or the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Dear Rochelle, Janice, Shari and Family,
It is difficult to know what to say at these times. Our familes were linked to so many memeoires for so many years. Dave certainly had a prescence in our lives and was especially significant to my education process.I "bumped into" him several years back; he was happy and very optimistic.
I am attempting to get an address so I can send a longer note but wanted to take this opprtunity to send my heartfelt condolences.
Six years ago I moved to California but often vist Clara and Bill's graves. When I do, I stop at the Braverman/Winikoff sites, not very far away. Again my thoughts are with all of you and I will be in touch.
