Daniel Mulcahy Obituary

Mulcahy, Daniel J. age age 77 and resident of Arlington Heights, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2003. He was the beloved husband of 56 years of Phyllis (nee Terhune); loving father of Daniel (Patricia) Mulcahy, Thomas (Mary) Mulcahy and Gail (Greg) Kay; dear grandfather of Sarah, Michael, Beth, Patrick, Megan, Josh, Kate, Eric, Kristen and Colleen, fond brother of Gerry, Mick and Ray. Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and took part in the first landings at Anzio; Retired from the Tribune Company in 1986 as the Production Superintendent of The Tribune Freedom Center; One of the founding parishioners of St. Cecilia's Church in Mt. Prospect, he was active in the Knights of Columbus and St. Cecilia's Couple's Club. An avid golfer and Chicago Cubs baseball fan. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, March 28th, 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL, 60070. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Clerics of St. Viator, 1213 E. Oakton Street, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004.
