McDevitt, Daniel L. 78, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Karolyn (nee Miller), loving father of Mary Jeanne (Larry) Zabst, cherished grandfather of Michael Joseph and Kevin James, great-grandfather of Heather Lynn and Nathan Taylor. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks South of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: American Diabetes Assoc. Chicago Office, 30 N.
