Daniel Mahoney Obituary

Our deepest sympathies to the Mahoney family. The Big Guy earned a place in heaven. I miss him every day.

Ive known Mr. Mahoney for 15 years and have always admired him for his loyalty, his honesty, his friendship. Thanks for having confidence in me and believing I could do the job. I owe so much of my success to this wonderful man.

I will forever be grateful.

I was so sorry to hear of the death of Dan. I knew Dan very well when I was a sergeant instructor at the CPD Academy 1970-1976. Dan also helped me with business at the CPFCU. Please accept my condolences.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I still use your Dad's bad jokes at restaurants. "We didn't like it" after finishing everthing on the table and "Do you take cash". My kids are getting old enough to be embarassed which only makes it more fun.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Mahoney family. Thank you for sharing this giant of a man with us. He was "The Commander". I shall never see another pair of plaid pants and not think of Mr. Mahoney.

i was very sorry to see dan's obit this morning. i have fond memories of living next door to the mahoney's on emerald ave and dan, working at adam's drug store at 57th and halsted james grieger
