Dear Dad,

I want you to know that I miss you very much. Now that the weather is nice I think you are going to get in your electric wheel chair and go for a ride down the block. I want you to know that I am keeping my promise to you. I am taking care of Mom like I promised you. She is doing alright. I kept her very busy yesterday. We went to a drive thru breakfast at McDonalds, then off to some garage sales, then home to watch them put up the flag pole in front of the house. This flag pole is in your memorie from Ma. She said you will look down every day and see your flag flying. Then we went to get dinner, off to shop for a few things Mom wanted for the house. Then to Lowes for some hanging flower plants. Mom is making the house look so beautiful. Well I'm going to go for now but will visit you later with updates of what is going on here. We love you and miss you very much. Take care of Danny and David and let them know we love and miss them.

Dear Mary, Dottie and family~
I was so sorry to hear of Danny's death and my prayers continue for both of you and all the rest of the family. It was such fun to watch Danny sitting in Mary's and Michael's garage just watching the world go by. So much of the world around here stopped to talk as well. He was a welcome addition to "the street" and I know everyone will miss him.
Remember all the good and forget the bad, sick part at the end.
