Please know that my prayers are with you. We've known each other so briefly, but I feel your loss and want you to know that I'm here for you.

Danny will be missed by many of his CFD brothers and sisters. He was a real, larger than life

character. I had an exciting time taming the Wild Westside with him in the late 70's. I am a better

person for having experienced Dan and learned to ‘not take stuff so serious’ when it wasn’t

important. I also witnessed his gentle side doing work he loved, and with his friends whom he

cherished. I’ll miss his smile, his smirk, his quick wit, his helping hands and words. You are in

my prayers.

Danny...We knew each many years ago when you worked on Amb 10 and I was an ED nurse at Northwest...AKA... JFK...AKA...OLR. You helped me with one very troubling time in my life and even tho we lost touch through the years...you would pop up in my mind every so often as a very good friend and colleague. Many people have been blessed to know you personally, but your family should know how much we all thrived on your humor, caring and compassion. Thank you for touching our lives in some big, little or very obscure way.

we had a lot of fun working on busy ambulance 10 on the west side in the 70's dan had a great sense of humor that helped me get through the often sleepless 24 hour shift. we lost touch but we ran into each other at a chili cook/contest 2 years ago and he brought up a lot of funny and unrepeatable firehouse stories that brought back many forgotten memories he was quite a character-my deepest condolences for your loss
