Daniel "Dan" Carrington Obituary
Dan died unexpectedly at the age of 42 of a heart attack on July 31, 2011.
Dan was born on August 27, 1968 in Camarillo, CA. The family later moved to Paradise Valley, AZ where he graduated from Chaparral High School in 1986 and Arizona State University in 1992 with a degree in Industrial Design.
After graduation, Dan moved to the Los Angeles area to pursue a career in Computer Generated Imaging and Graphics for the television industry. He soon advanced to Lead Graphic Artist for MFX in Burbank, CA, where he worked on many popular sit-coms and dramas as well as advertising.
He is survived by wife, Kathy and young daughter Kira; father, David A. Carrington of Dallas and mother, Janet Lincoln Bale of Phoenix; sister Colleen Felix, brother-in-law Paul, nieces Brianna and Kristina of Phoenix, brother David L. Carrington, sister-in-law Lynette, niece and nephews Calista, Bryce and Quinn of Gilbert, AZ
Services will be held at Rose Family Mortuary at 6:00 PM August 5, 2011. 4444 Cochran St, Simi Valley, CA 93063.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions/donations to a college scholarship fund. for Kira Carrington c/o Kathy Carrington or to the American Heart Association in the memory of Daniel P. Carrington.

Very sorry to here this news,dan was a neighbor,and will always be remembered as a good provider,husband,and father.I will miss seeing kathy and kira,waving goodby to dan every morning as he went off to work on his motorcycle!very sad day..another butterfly flying free..
