Dear Dallemolle Family,
I just learned of Dan's passing. He was a great guy. I met him when he played baseball in Riverdale, always upbeat. Met and were friends with Kathy in high school. My sincere belated sympathy for the loss of Dan.

It is astonishing that it has been 20 years. I still reflect on our time together and cherish the memories and the lessons learned from a great friend and mentor. May his memory be eternal.

I think of Dan often. His famous sayings, his unstoppable enthusiasm and his companionship are sorely missed. Thank you Dan for being a part of my life.

I think of Dan often, remembering the great times together and the lessons he shared. Many times I would often ask "what would Dan do..." I can't beleive it has been 9 years since he left us. He is and will always be missed. May his memory be eternal.

I thought about Dan today as I drove through Rocky Hill, NJ. The Deer in New Jersey will get a break knowing Dan is not in woods.

I worked with Dan at Johnson & Johnson and V. Mueller. Will never forget the great times we had in St. Louis playing in the Industrial World Series Softball Tournament, representing J&J.

You are still missed today my friend!

He was a busy man, but never missed a practice or a game. This is the same commitment that he displayed to his family and led to his success. He taught a group of boys about what it takes to be a man. Coach DalleMolle was a tremendous man and a great role model. I grew up with Dan in Riverdale and schooled with him--a great ballplayer and friend. At our recent Thornton H.S. class reunion we were quite proud to hear of Dan's success in life. We remembered him on our Riverdale forum as well.

To the family, know that Dan touched lives wherever he went. I pray that God comforts you through this tremendous loss. He's not only in your memories. I believe our loved one's all look down and watch over us from Heaven.

Here's to a man who could really move an audience, inspire a sales force, see the truth for what it was and save a company. His life was short but he made his mark. I don't expect his shoes will be readily filled.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Dallemolle. As a friend of Lecia I got to spend some time with him and I could tell he was an incredible father. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

My wife and I were in Mexico on vacation when I heard of Dan's death. Though I never got to know him personally, I admired the man for what he did to turn Enesco around. We all owe him our greatest gratitude. Our prayers and sympathy go out to his family.

I was shocked to hear of Dan's death; you must be devastated. Kathleen, I met you at the NALED Banquet last June in Rosemont IL where Dan was awarded the BEST CEO IN THE INDUSTRY. I believe it was the first time that this award was given.

(I am a consultant for eBay and an industry veteran) I remember while in a meeting about eBay programs with Dan soon after he joined Enesco he was giving us his background information. In the middle of that he paused and talked about you and how you were from the same town in the south side of Chicago and that you were teenage sweathearts. I never forgot that meeting because I saw how pleased he was with his family and his place in life. I can only hope that your years of happiness and your good memories will enable you to live with this sad loss.

Our Board members are saddened to know that Dan was taken from us so suddenly. His legacy will live in the industry he so loved through the spirit he left in those he mentored. Last year he was given our first ever "CEO of the Year Award" because the Board recognized the uniqueness in Dan. He was indeed one of a kind.

Dan was a brilliant man. He will be very missed by all who had the opportunity to meet and work with him. He was truely a gift to the gift industry.

My last memory of Dan is of him sitting with a coworker and myself during our awards ceremony. We were cold inside the banquet hall so we went out in the hallway to sit in the sun near the window . He sat there and spoke to us about his illness. He was a very optomistic strong man. He will be missed.
