To: The Dan Curran Family:
I am very sorry to hear about your father. I have been out of town until recently when I was informed of his death. I worked with Dan periodically at the Airport as my office was at O'Hare; however, we became fast friends. He will be sorely missed. His humor was beyond belief and his character made him the most respected man anywhere. My prayers and throught are with all of you at this time.

Dear Beth, Megan, Moira, Suzanne and Sarah,
When anyone ever mentioned Danny's name the whole room smiled. He lit up every room he ever walked into. He was loving, caring, fun loving and so proud of all of you.
He will be missed by all.
If your dad emceed his own funeral he would say "Water down the infield" as he brought a drink for the house.
Our love and prayers are with you.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your father. I worked for Dan down in the cattle pit at the Merc for a number of years. All I can remember are good times. His Irish wit and sense of humor were always present. My family and I will never forget the lasting friendship that was endured over the years. You are all in our prayers.

There is one phrase that reminds me of Uncle Danny. "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways in a body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling WOO HOO-What a Ride! Thank you to a fun loving individual for allowing us a seat on his ride of life. There were certainly more fun times in our lives because of him and the Curran Family-his 40th birthday party, the Southside Parade parties and the "sequined-dress girls". I extend my deepest sympathy, my love and thanks to you all!

The family of Annie and Hugh Curran send their prayers and love to Danny's family. We haven't seen much of Danny over our adult years but as children we spent a lot of time together. When I think of Danny I see a smile on his face, a light soft shoe, and a song in his heart. I remember at family "get togethers" he would do a little tap dance, or sing songs such as "Hey, Good Looking" and "In Back of the Yard". We will miss him dearly. Bye Cuz
