Daniel Bluthardt Obituary

To the family of Daniel, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not get to know Daniel very well but I know he will be missed. Prayers to the family at this time.

May the Hearer of prayer give the family the comfort needed during this time of grief (Psalm 65:2). The Almighty is a refuge for us in times of distress. May you find relief in His promises of life again for our lost love ones like Dan, found in His Word during this time of sadness.

To the Bluthardt Family, I was lucky to have worked with Dan over the years, he was a good friend and great lobbyist who went out of his way to help me on several occasions. We shared many a laugh together over the years, I will miss him and keep him in my prayers.

Oh Big Dan. Such a hoot!! My thoughts and prayers are with you & your family & friends.

I had the pleasure to know and work with Dan. I always found him to be a gentle, thoughtful and caring man. My deepest sympathy on your great loss. You are in my prayers.

Whenever I think of Blu, I can't help but smile! His own smile lit up his entire face - usually due to some joke he just said or pulled!!
Oh - who couldn't love Dan? He was an amazing man - so smart, good hearted and TRULY caring of those he worked with and who worked for him.
I am so happy I saw him in December at DPR's Christmast party at Tommy's Tap - stayed to the end, no surprise!

Sending my deepest sympathy to Carrie, Rocco and Amanda!! My heart breaks for the entire Bluthardt family. Dan was always poking fun and making others laugh!! Always had a smile on his face. I had great respect for him for the family man that he was. I'm in complete shock and sorrow for his family. He's a great guy that will be missed terribly!!!

My heartfelt condolences go to your family. Like so many, I worked with Dan in the Capitol throughout his career. He was a great legislative liaison, a terrific director and a pleasure to call a colleague as a lobbyist. I will truly miss his smile and warmth.

Brent and family, sorry to hear about your brother Dan, I think he is now at the big party with your great granpa/ma that served Schiller Park so well.

My prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I work at IDFPR and have missed Dan since he left the agency. He was always cheerful and friendly to the employees of the agency. He will be missed by many.
