Johns, D. Russell "Don" 67, of Hoffman Estates. Dear son of the late Sylvia and Ralph T. Johns. Beloved brother of Barbara (the late John) Perry. Loving uncle of Richard Perry, Patricia (Daniel) Machamer and Sandy (Joel) Ridle. Cherished great uncle of eight nieces and nephews. Russ retired from American Airlines after over 30 years of service. He was known for his love of animals, particularly his cats, he was chef extraordinaire for his family and friends, loved collecting trains and had a passion for traveling and American Indian art. Visitation from 4 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, where services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 13.
