The night you left, we honored you
By doing what we do best
Cracked jokes, laughed till it hurt
Then cried as we laid you to rest

We joined hands around you
Bowed our heads and prayed
I hope you felt our love, my friend
I wish you could have stayed

The way you and your family fought this battle
Was the bravest thing I've ever seen
You treated your wife like a princess
Which proves you were raised by a queen

Your life is an inspiration
You've taught us all so well
That sometimes to get to Heaven
You must go through hell

Stars can't sparkle without darkness
Though the sun will shine after the rain
There is comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering
No longer in pain

This is a devastating loss to our circle
But circles have no beginning or end
Nothing will break us, not even death
Our beloved eternal friend

“A man who treats his woman like a princess is proof that he has been raised by a queen.”

Craig and I grew up together. We share the same second mother and father…Mama and Papa Wags, and brothers Ricky and Tommy.
In fact, when I asked Craig what he REALLY wanted off of his wedding registry this summer, he very seriously replied, “the Kanine Kannon so I can play with Tommy's dog.”
We are part of the same family.

Some of my favorite memories are when I'd come home from college in the summer.
There'd be a random knock at the door and I'd open it to see “the boys” sitting on the front porch stairs, wanting to know if I was up for taking a drive. And of course I always was.

Words can't express the extent of heartbreak I feel for Craig's wife Lindsay, his mother Lois and the rest of his loved ones.
I hope Lindsay can find comfort in knowing Craig loves her more than anything. Even now still as he watches over her from Heaven.
And Lois, for Craig to have grown to be such a remarkable man who knew how to treat his wife, that is a testament to you, the woman who raised him.

This is a devastating loss to our circle, but it did not break the chain connecting us. Nothing will. Not even death.
We love you Craig. We miss you. Fly with the angels my
friend.

Lois, my most heartfelt sympathy. I was so sorry to hear this news. May you gain strength in knowing you gave him love and a wonderful but way too short life. You now have an Angel protecting you.
Hugs,
Sue

Craig was a very intelligent, very kind hearted guy which helped him have a wide variety of friends. He was a guy in the neighborhood always willing to play JAILBREAK (and he was pretty good). He was a guy from school always willing to play pick-up softball in the Celestine parking lot and football games in the Circle. He was a guy growing up that wanted to share in any and every experience as we got older...and he was fearless in doing so. He was a guy...a guy that we are all fortunate to have known. My comfort comes from knowing that his nana, whom he was very proud and protective of, was waiting to walk with him through and on. "Yeah BUDDY"
