My dad, Charles Fletcher, adored his sister Corrine, and she felt the same way about him. I have many wonderful childhood memories of driving out to Roselle from Chicago for our family to visit hers at Christmas and in the summer. Corrine was a wonderful aunt to all of us and was very welcoming. She was charming yet very direct, someone who spoke her mind forcefully, yet always in a kind way. In recent years we have seen less of her, although she was present and supportive at the funerals of Charles and my mother Charlotte. She will always mean a great deal to me.
