Sterling, Conrad R. age 79, after a brief illness, beloved husband and best friend for 57 years of Nannette (nee Fleischer), loving father of Bruce (Debbie) and Sherri (the late Jerry) Schmidt, adored "Papa" of Lauren and Brian Schmidt, Sean and Madison Sterling, cherished uncle, cousin and friend. Former business owner of Sterling General Corporation. Service Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd. Wilmette. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1210, Chicago, IL 60601. For info 847-256-5700.

Bruce and Debbie please accept my deepest sympathies, our prayers go out to you. I only worked with Conrad a couple of times, but I will always remember the Luna Carpet in Bellwood. Talking and joking with him daily made my day, he will be missed.
