He was devoted to preserving families, saving souls and helping the needy throughout the community. Rev. Dr. Columbus Ewing's Homegoing Services will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Community Fellowship M.B. Church, 4817 W. Madison St., Chicago, IL 60644. Wake 10:00 a.m., Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. and Inhumation, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Pastor Columbus Ewing will lie-in-state at the church on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pastor Ewing leaves to cherish his memory, his 4 children, Dr. Shirley, Marcus (Lenell), Marlon (Thais) and Dr. Phyllis (Tommy), 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He may be gone, but his legacy will live on!
