Clyde O’Bryant Obituary
He was born December 15, 1913 in Kosciusko, MS, the son of Dennis and Emma Lou (Russell) O’Bryant. He graduated from high school in 1935 and attended Anderson College for 2 years. He moved to Anderson in 1936 and retired from Guide Lamp in 1972 after 36 years.
Clyde attended Park Place Church of God and Bethany Christian Church. He served in the Army Military Police during WWII in England from 1943 to 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Smith) O’Bryant, whom he married on March 16, 1940; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
