Wow Four years have passed since one of the worst days of my life.I still cant believe your gone,Cliff I think theres not a day that goes by that I dont think of you and all the crazy things we have done,The good thing is that I have memories of everything. So many things have changed since that hot day in August,Today it is Raining,I walked into the garage and saw your Bike sitting there and for a moment it felt like you were there,I saw Bob yesterday and we talked about you ,He now has two boys that I think drive him crazy to.And my kids are growing up so fast.Aidan will be five years old soon and Brennan is 13 months.I only wish they could have got to know you and they would of called you Uncle Spliff.Wouldnt that have been great.I tried contacting Sarah recently but never got a call back.I"ll tell you life goes by so fast That I have not taken the time to write to you.So I figured I would take the time this morning just to say Hello and let you know that I am always thinking about you and hold you deep in my Heart.I will always Miss you.

You are in our thoughts every day! They say that time heals everything - they are wrong - it just gets a little easier. Life moves so fast! Bill is going to be 40 this month, can you believe it? Brennan will be a year old on July 5th. Bill called and said he got his first tooth, I laughed, and asked which one? Because Aidan's first tooth was a fang, right around Halloween - that's way too funny. Brennan is starting to walk. Cheryl has had her hands ful with Connor, he is still very sick - not sure if he's going to make it. They gave him a 0% change, but he is a tough kid, hopefully he will beat the odds.
Always remember we love you!

Hey Cliff,
It's been awhile - no we have not forgotten about you! You are on our minds ALL of the time.
Bill and Andrea had a new baby boy...Brennan, he was just a month old on the 5th! Everyone was excited! Aidan is growing up so fast - he's a cutie! Bill's little playmate - I mean fighting buddy...haha. Aidan beats me up too! I was by Bill's house this week and he had mentioned that we are coming up on 3 years since you have been gone...how time flies! And ofcourse we talk about how much we all miss you, life is not the same without you!
Life moves so fast!
Cheryl's little guy, Connor had to have brian surgery the end of May, he had a brain tumor and is going thru chemo - it has been an uphill battle! He will be 2 on the 23rd of this month. Cheryl has been very strong through it so far. The doctors are giving him a 0% survival rate - we are all praying that he beats the odds.
Needless to say it has been stressful.
My mom miss you too! She and I talk about you all of the time and your beautiful little girls!
Claudia is growing like a weed, she is going to be 9. She is her own little person! She has was picked for modeling, so our Saturdays have been booked. She is learning a lot and loving it!
LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!!!
We love you!!!! Kar

Hey Cliff,
It is amazing how fast time goes by, it has been a little over 2 years since we lost you. You are missed everyday! They say that time heals all…I am not so sure that, that is the truth. Sometimes I find myself getting all chocked up as I pass someone on a bike, just thinking about you an how we will never see you again, except for in our memories and pictures. I still have a picture of you and Sara in my room, that I see everyday! Aidan is going to be 3 this Thursday, can you believe it? He is the cutest little guy! Billie’s little buddy. The things that he comes up with, WOW! Billie was mowing the lawn, he can in all sweaty and Aidan asked “What are you leaking daddy?” He sure keeps Billie on his toes! I know or at least I sense that you are with all of us everyday. I was by Don’s and we talked about how much you helped him with the computer stuff, you may have spent more time with him then Billie & I at the time – he really enjoyed your company. Billie said that Sara has been taking the girls to see your Grandmother – I know there were some problems in the beginning, but it seems that they have worked through them. We can only help that they will be as close to your Grandma as you were! Love ya…Kar

Hey Cliff,
I don't know why I have never written before but you have been on my mind a lot lately. It may have to do with the loss of Bobby & Dina's son, Tyler this past weekend and seeing the grief on Bill's face once again or maybe just the passing of time. Either way I just am feeling really down. Life is so short and I think we all take for granted the everday things, expecting them to all be there tomorrow. You were a part of our lives that is now gone. I don't think anything big ever happened without you there. You were there our first weekend away, you helped us move, paint, finish our basement. My god you pulled all the staples out of our floor after you decided our carpet would look good in your apartment. You were the best man at our wedding and one of the first visitors in the hospital after Aidan was born. There are just to many memories to name. Sometimes on the weekend the phone rings early and for a moment I think who else but Cliff would call at this time and then I think how sad it is that I'll never be able to yell at you again for waking me up! You were Bill's best friend and he misses you so much and I just wanted you to know he's not the only one.

Billy, Andrea, Aidan, Tommy, my mom, Claudia, aunt Deb, Horst, Bobby, Dina, Zack and the new baby, Tyler (he was born November 15th)and Donald came over Christmas Eve, ofcourse we talked about you. I wish you would have known how much you meant to everyone! There is not a day that goes by without a thought of you! I have a picture of you in a frame with a bunch of other pictures, so I see your smiling face everyday! It's a picture of you at Billy's wedding. You always seemed so happy, this just doesn't make sense to me. We will always have quetions. I called Sara and the girls to wish them a Merry Christmas. I wish you were around to see Aidan, he is so much fun and full of life. He is Billy's entire world, it would have been nice for you to share this with your best friend, hopefully you are able to atleast see from a far, and see how happy it makes him. We all miss you!

Hey Cliff,
Time passes by so quickly, it's almost May! There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you! The weather is so nice and I was just thinking about you and Billy taking the kids out for a long bike ride. Well at least Billy can take Aidan out and you can be with him in spirit. I always think about when you did all of your tricks, oh, how much fun! Oh, my god, this hurts so much, I can't stop the tears. Everyone really misses you! I know Claudia did not know you very well, but she has been asking about you a lot lately. You just don't know how many people you touched! I know that you know that I am thinking about you, but I just wanted to drop you a note. Love you...Kar

Hey Cliff,
Christmas is almost here and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you! It hurts me to think that you are not around! You were always in good spirits, no matter what was going on in your life! I don't think that you knew how much EVERYONE cared about you! The thought of never seeing you again, brings tears to my eyes. Life is such a presious gift, and so many take advantage of it. They go on in life, thinking about themsleves and not others feelings or well being. Since you have passed, my life has not been the same. Things that I thought ment something, really mean nothing at all! I regrat the fact that I became so rapped up in my life, that over the past few years I thought about you all of the time, but I never really got to see you, except when Billy had something going on at his house! What a misfortune! I can not replace the time lost! We all need to take time to tell our loved ones, what we feel, do not hold back, you never know what tomorrow brings. Life changes so fast! I love you like a brother and always will! I hope to feel your spirit at Christmas and always!
I Love you!
Kar

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Cliff Ferris. I work for CSX and didn't have the chance to get to know Cliff all that well. But he was always friendly and happy. My prayers are with the family.

CLIFF L. FERRIS
Thirty-six years on this earth, such a short time,
You touched many a life, including mine!
Your Mother, Father, Sister & Grandmother,
Friends, co-workers and especially your significant other.
Sarah came along, and a husband, you couldn’t wait to be,
A little girl named Bianca stole your heart, didn’t she?
Then along came Rebecca, soon after Samantha and Abby
What a PROUD father you were, whenever you mentioned them to me!
Throughout your life, Bill was your best friend,
no matter what, where or when, he was there to mend,
just as you were more than his friend, perhaps like a brother
Now that you are gone, Bill knows there will never be another.
Laura was your big sister, but Karla considered herself your little sister,
I can remember when there were times, I had to yell at both of you, Mister!
We have been with you through good times and bad,
there were times we were happy and times we were sad!
Cliff, you brought happiness to more than you’ll ever know!
You had a sadness in your eyes, pain that you never let show.
There are questions, and questions, without any solution,
and our lives will go on, perhaps one day, we will find resolution.
We all love you and will deeply miss your smiling face.
Your other Mother
