Nine years since the Lord called Sister Sanders home?!!! And the memory of her class and taste for life is still so fresh! She brought real meaning to the words "woman of God" and I was honored to call her "Sister". Praying that those who are living in her legacy will make her proud and bless the Lord!

To the family - I first met Mrs. Sanders through the Chicagoland Christian Women's Conference many, many years ago. She had such a kind and gentle spirit. I could always count on receiving "The Daily Bread" from her each quarter. She will truly be missed.

"When thou walkest in the way I'll lead thee, and from the fatness of the land I'll feed thee, and a mansion in the sky I'll deed thee and the high place I'll bring down." The Lord has walked with Sis. Sanders through the valley of the shadow of death until she walked full into His light. He has fed her with a wealth of wisdom so as to help a young woman like me grow old gracefully. And now, He has welcomed her home. Well done, Sis. Sanders.

I will always remember Cleo for her wit, wisdom and courage to speak truth. I will always remember her passion, encouragement and importance for the body of Christ to minister to the family. She understood the importance of families spending time together and ministering to each other. She will be misseed, but she completed her mission here on earth as a good and faithful servant.

To The Family,
It has been a blessing through the years to have known Rev. and Sister Sanders. It has been so wonderful to work with her during the Sunday School Conferences and gatherings for Senior citizens. We will miss her, but we feel blessed by having the privilege of knowing her. Please know that our prayers are with youduring this time of loss.

To The Family,
My prayers are with you. As one having had the privilege of serving on the Chicagoland Christian Women's Conference Board of Directors with Mrs. Sanders, I was deeply saddened to hear of her homegoing. I praise God for having had the opportunity to assist her in many ways for many years. I walk a little straighter because of her and her influence. Be Blessed! A. Belle Davis

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Cleo. She was a very beautiful, Godly Christian woman. I will miss her personally, as well as the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Christian Women's Conference (CCWC).

Please accept my deepest sympathies during your time of loss. Losing a loved one in death causes feelings of pain, grief, and helplessness. Comfort can be found in God's Word. Please read 1 Cor 1:3,4.
