Clemente, Claudio "Whitey" dearly beloved husband of Rose (nee Mallardi), loving father of Charles, Vincent (Mary), Christopher (Maureen), Michael (Carole) and Edward, devoted grandfather of nine, fond brother of Enzo "Hank" (Evelyn) and Gloria (Richard) Hobbs. Funeral Tuesday, August 12th, 10 a.m., from DeNicolo-Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734-40 W. Diversey Ave., corner of Mango, Chicago. Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Ferdinand Church, Mason & Barry Aves. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Member of St. Ferdinand's Holy Name Society, Usher's Club and Eucharistic Minister. Scout Coordinator of Boy Scouts of American Troop #51. He served in WWII and the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association or Owasippe Staff Association appreciated. Visitation Monday 4 to 9 p.m. 773-889-0115.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

One of the finest examples of Scouting to Scouts and Scouters.
I didnt appreciate much of what Whitey did for us, until I am trying to do the same.
An inspiration to myself and Scouters everywhere.

I CAN STILL REMEMBER AT SUNDAY MORNING MASS, WE WOULD BE GREETED WITH A SMILE FROM "WHITEY". SEATING ALL OF US KIDS AND PICKING UP THE SUNDAY PAPER FROM THE STAND THAT SAT OUT FRONT OF CHURCH.
