Claudia Alice (Rusty) Ollis

Claudia Alice (Rusty) Ollis, born September 15, 1940 in Seattle, died April 10, 2003 in Port Townsend, WA. Rusty was surrounded by a loving family when she passed.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, David Ollis; children, Doug, Richard, Tom, Terry Milbrad, Lori and Kevin Wilcox, and Craig Ollis. She leaves behind many grandchildren and two great grandchildren; also two very special grandchildren, Jayden Wilcox and Ethan Olllis; sisters Gloria Milbrad, and Jan Gronseth; brothers, Doug, Clay and Bob Manning; mother-in-law, Wanda Ollis; and many special friends.
Rusty was a person of many talents who loved the outdoors, working in her gardens and possessed an extreme talent for doing crafts and writing poetry. Everyone who knew Rusty loved her for her warmth and kindness. She was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion.
Special thanks to Dr. Johnson, Dr. Parkman and Hospice for their wonderful care.
Donations may be made to Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with the Celebration of Rusty's Life Service following at 1:00 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Chapel, Snohomish, WA and burial following at G.A.R. Cemetery.
