Zuchel, Clarence "Zuke" age 89, of Norridge, IL, passed away on May 10, 2010, preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Anne (nee Zito), to whom he was devoted, cherished father of Patricia (Joseph) Fiduccia, Jerald (Judith) Zuchel, and Debra Congiusti, proud grandfather of Sgt. James Fiduccia, CPD, Kerry (Gregory) Koziol, Heather (Michael) Knieling, Jaclyn (Nicholas) Kochanski, Joseph P. Fiduccia, Ashley (David) Eastham, Deanne, and Daniel Congiusti, blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Kiley Koziol, Chloe, Jake, Shae, Reese, and Cody Knieling and Cade Eastham, "Bud" was the oldest and only brother of six sisters, the late Dolores Dzik, the late Elaine Reiland, the late Bernadette Berg, Loretta Settergren, Annamarie Campbell, and Marilynn Campi, and brother-in-law of Nancy Spaletto. Nicnamed "Zuke", he was a graduate of Lane Tech High School, proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and learned electrical trade. He worked for the Board of Education, the City of Chicago and eventually opened his own business, "Z Electrical Services, Inc." He was a lifetime member of the Electrical Union Local 134, Knights of Columbus LaSalle Assembly No. 0189, 4th Degree Group, Knights of Columbus St. Anthony De Padua Council No. 1949, Montclare-Leyden V.F.W. Post 1284 and American Legion Post 769/2910. Funeral Thursday, May 13, beginning 8:30 a.m. from Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, and proceeding to St. William Church, for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery, Mausoleum of the Resurrection.
