Clarence "CJ" Beers
of Owego, N.Y.
Clarence "CJ" Beers, 56, of Owego, N.Y., passed away, after battling cancer, Monday, March 31, 2008, at home in the presence of close friends. He was born September 1, 1951 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Jo; parents, Clarence and Betty; and two sisters, Ruth Ann and Betty Jane. He is survived by his wife, six children, 11 grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews. CJ enjoyed cooking, music, arrowhead hunting, metal detecting, and historical artifacts. He was a free spirit who lived life without boundaries.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Owego VFW, 207 Main Street, Owego, N.Y., on Saturday, April 5th, 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate your sentiments in memory of Clarence Beers to the Autism Society of America, 7910 Woodmont Ave., Ste. 300, Bethesda, Md. 20814-3067.
