Claire Sawyer Obituary

Chris, Claire, Connie and Carol and families - my mother certainly treasured her friendship with Claire Sr. all these many years. Oh, the things they used to do together! I'm so glad they were able to chat on the phone a few months back - it was as if they were transported back to Flossmoor days. My mother loved hearing about what all the Sawyer girls were up to. Your mom was so proud of all of you. She was a lovely person and I loved knowing her too.

There are so many special memories of living next door to the Sawyer family amd growing up with all of you from Kindergarden through high school and beyond.



One particular memory about your Mom is when I was,maybe, nine years old and way up in a tree and ,of course, fell out and landed on a rock face first. Your Mom heard me screeming and came running over and quickly put me at ease and called my Mom who took me to the Dr..



Thanks to Carol and Tom, who made it possible for me to see her again a few years ago or so at the family reunion at their house. I'll always remember her.
