Too all of Christopher/Chris "Ron/Ronnie" Scapardine's Wonderful & Lovely Family.

George Scapellato and myself (Karyn Kallenborn were so very moved with all the love that Chris/Ron was surrounded with at The Chappel. May 27th 2015.

I have to tell you that your family is "One Of The Sweetest I have ever known! That room was filled with love, admiration, and honor!

George has seen Chris/Ron more than myself over the years. I just have to tell you with all the sadness everyone's feeling. Of something that made me smile when I was remembering Chris/Ron.

I remember a dark brown thick wavy hair sticking up on our living room floor @ 4757 S. Justine Street.

When my Father Chuck/Charles/Chuckie
Came in one Summer evening from work late. As he did often.

Before he turned in for the evening he always took a head count of his 10 children. On the living room floor with our blankets under the air conditioning.

My twin brother Kerry told Ron/Chris he could spend the night. Unbeknownst to any of my parents. How funny it was!!!!

When he sat up from underneath the blanket. With that thick mop of wavy dark brown hair to tell my Father "It's Okay Mr. Chuck. My Family knows I am here" "I am comfortable" "Kerry says, you make pancakes on Sunday and I will help Kerry with his work in the yard" but maybe we can go fishing instead, Kerry is letting me use one of his fishing poles."

The grin on his face was from ear to ear. My Mother and Father laughed so hard and said, "so what's one more to our Army?!

Although I have to tell you. None of us got any sleep that night! We all did go fishing.

Kerry Past Away in 2002. If I know Kerry. They are on a fishing trip! I will always remember the wonderful memories that I take with me through life.

I know Kerry is with me everyday! He is my angel by my side! As is Chris/ Ron is with all of you! Please never forget that and if you need anything at all. Just an ear to listen. Call Anytime. Karyn Kallenborn 231-409-1417
God Bless You All!

My heart goes out to the Scapardine family. I was detailed to Truck 60 and worked with Chris quite a bit. He always had a smile or a joke and he spoke of his wife and family often. He will be missed. RIP Chris. Watch over the men and women of CFD.

Dear Friend Ronnie Scapardine,

Those special memories of you, will always bring a smile.

If we could only have you back again, just a little while.

Then we could sit and talk once more, just like we use to do.

You always meant the world to us, and always will do too.

The fact that you're no longer here, will always cause us pain.

Although your forever in our hearts until we meet again.

Your Friends Since Childhood,

George Scapellato and Karyn Kallenborn (Twin Sister of) "The Late and Great" Kerry Kallenborn
