My name is Osiris Taylor and I was a student at Drew Academy last school year(8th gr.). I am deeply saddened by the loss of Chris this summer. We were in L.O.T.C. together. His smile will be greatly missed. I'm sure you will miss him more but God knows best for I have recently lost a close faimily member too. My prayers are with you.

My name is Miss. Harris and I had the chance to work with Chris at Bethune Academy for the time he was there. I must admit, when we first met, we "bumped heads" from time to time. However, he was sweet, smart, and respectful. I had a chance to teach him in every subject including art! He was an outstanding artist and that I will never forget. I will miss him and those eyes! But, what I want you and your family to know is, "Whenever your in doubt and you're feeling down and out, look to God, because he will bring you out! We will miss Chris dearly, but look at it this way, We will see him again standing at the Golden Gates oneday. God decided he wanted a new flower for his garden, so he picked Chris. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Chris but we are comforted in knowing he is in a better place. He and Branden started in daycare together and it will very strange not see Chris around Drew. If there is anything my family can do to help you let us know.

I can't begin to imagine how difficult this time must be for you. But I do know that GOD is always in control. We may not always understand the rhyme or reason, but his loving arms will hold you when you feel you can't go any further. Kenneth and I will be in touch and are always here. Your faith in God will give you strength in the days to come. I met your mom Connie sometime ago. She was a former employee and very dear friend to my son Damacia at Lockwood Funeral Home.
