Where do I begin?? I became a part of the Joncek family just a few years ago. What a great family to be a part of. Christine, my mother-in-law, was the kindest, sweetest person I know. She always put others first. When Chris decided to move to Las Vegas to live with her son, Bobby, and me, people thought I was crazy to have my mother-in-law move in. All I could tell them was that I was the luckiest person to have such a terrific, loving and caring mother-in-law. She had me laughing all the time. If you knew Chris, she didn't know her way around Las Vegas, other than the Flamingo Casino. She loved her slot machines (blazing 7's), we told her we would put a machine right in her room and she can toss in those $100 bills any time she wanted. I also told her we would make sure to always have a brandy alexander available for her. She always wanted her drink in one hand and the other available to hit the slots. Wow how she loved those slots!
Chris and I shared so many stories, some I can share and some are just between us. I remembered laughing when she told me to always put scotch tape on the envelopes you mail because you just never know, someone could open it. I will never look at scotch tape the same way without smiling and thinking of her. She loved her scotch tape and rubber bands.
A short time before her leaving us to join her husband, her and I told one another we wish we knew one another longer. In a short period of time, I got so close to someone and that is not easy for me.
Momma J, you are no longer in pain, you are free. You can get rest now without me interrupting your sleep :) I will forever have your pink rose around me with thoughts of you.
I love you and miss you oh so much!

Although I only knew Chris for a very short time I told her I felt we could have been very good friends. I was lucky to spend a week with her before she passed. We talked and laughed about many things. She was always worried about you before herself. I will miss her.
