For all that knew Chris, his genuine sincerity is missed. He enjoyed people, flying, being with family and friends, water and anything to do with water (breast stroke was his specialty but his butterfly was so cool to watch; impressing the younger cousins on his trick ski was always a treat, as well) staying fit, chocolate, rollercoasters, good food and vanilla phosphates at Driftwood, as well as being a deep philosophical conversationalist and excellent listener. And you don't find that in too many people. He was an excellent Godfather to both our oldest son, Teddy and to Amy's son, Dimitri. Chris was like a brother to me....I just wish I had the chance to tell him that.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell and Tammy, I am so sorry to hear about Chris. I just heard the news tonight(11/29/01). I will always have fond memories of our summers growing up on Round Lake - rollerskating, Driftwood, and skiing of course. Chris, like Teddy will always have a special place in my heart.
Our Deepest Sympathy,

Ted, Lorraine and Tammy, and all of the Mitchell family. My deepest sympathies to you all. My memories of Chris and Teddy will always be of a couple of crazy, fun kids in Sister Lakes. My heart aches with you all. It is hard to say that God, in his infinite wisdom, knows best, but maybe thats all there is to it.
Love and Prayers for you all,
Uncle Doug

Tabitha, Please remember if there is anything I can do for you, I am here for you. I do know that words can not take away the pain you are feeling right now...but always remember he loved you very much. He is with God and the angels right now...and he will always be watching over you. No one ever knows how long we have with someone, only God does...and I am sure that Chris knew you loved him very much. I am so sorry for the pain you feel right now...Call me if there is anything I can do for you. Love You Debbie
