I first met Choicia when she was living in Washington, DC. I visited her in her condo with my brother and future sister-in-law, Lois. I remember a very lively and vivacious woman with sparkling eyes. She was a gracious hostess.
In the years since then I had the pleasure of her company (with her sister, Vernice) at family gatherings at Lois and Gene's home. I shall miss her.
