Dear Eileen, George, Burt and Dale
One of my earliest memories of your mother is the fabulous punch she used to make for us with orange juice and Hawaiian Punch. Many, many happy hours were spent at your house, with Eileen and I talking about boys, doing our hair, our nails, teenage girl talk, cementing a lifelong relationship with your family. Your mom was always there to run interference when you boys, as brothers will do, started to tease or annoy us. So many memories, as our families became more intertwined through the years. Our moms were so much alike, good Navy wives who devoted their lives to raising their children, running the home, and taking care of our fathers. Everyone who knew them loved them and never said an unkind word about them. That is another bond that our families share. Your family and mine were blessed to have had such wonderful mothers; as they aged, they became closer, because they were so alike and had more time to visit. Your mother loved you dearly, thought about your welfare and well-being constantly, as only mothers like ours will do, and now she is at rest with your dad and her loved ones that passed before her time came. Take comfort, dear friends, as you mourn her passing, and in the years to come, that she is still with you, always will be, watching from Heaven. Art and Diane, she loved you both, as well, not just as son and daughter-in-laws, but because of your good hearts and kindnesses and the happiness you have brought Eileen and George. Larry, Chris and I extend our deepest condolences and will always be there for you. Love, Donna

To the Beran family: our sincerest sympathies to you all for the loss of your mother. Mrs Beran was a wonderful & kind person to all she met. We always enjoyed visiting with her, sharing holidays, enjoying conversations and sharing memories. Mothers have such special places in each of our hearts - so may the fond memories of her warm your hearts and keep her alive for you until you meet her again in heaven. May God's strength, peace & love comfort all of you in the days ahead. You are in our hearts & prayers.

One of my fondest memories is that of Mrs. Beran, she was like a second mother to me throughout my elementary and high school years. She was a person anyone would have loved to sit and have conversation with and the food she prepared was amazing. I remember on one occassion Mrs. Beran said to me "Robbie, you need to find you a Japanese wife", I loved her cooking:-).
Simply stated, Mrs. Beran was a beautiful person and I know that Jesus has called her home.
