WWII Army Veteran, beloved husband of Betty (nee Stampanato), dear brother of John (Mary), Sally Baron, Virginia (Ted) Eischen, Bernice (Marvin) Skubal, and Ruth (Erwin) Laskowski, dear brother-in-law of AI (Dolores) Stampanato, the late Carmen (Theresa) Stampanato, and the late Anthony (Josephine) Stampanato, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, (two miles west of 79th and Harlem), Justice, IL to St. Fabian Church, 83rd and Oketo Ave., Bridgeview, IL for 10:00 a.m. Mass. I was glad to again see Chester and meet his wife at Helen Lipka's wake last year. Chester was a sweet man and was my first "boyfriend". He was a groomsman at Helen & Joe Lipka's wedding and I was the flower girl and had a very mad crush on him that day. Got to spend time with he and his wife last year and it was a treat. He surely soared into heaven! My heart is heavy for the family. Barb Chudy Del Carlo

My deepest sympathy to you Betty and all the family.I was shocked,didn't know Chester was ill. Glad we spoke some time ago at lipka wake.Ed notified me.
