Matiasek Jr., Chester W. Passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Geri (nee Nykiel) for a loving 45 years; devoted father of Jennifer (Rob) Matiasek-Atwood and Michelle (Eric) House; loving son of the late Chester W. Sr., and the late Emilie, (nee Zajec) Matiasek; fond grandfather of Aaron and Abby House; dear brother of Melanie (Lou) Matiasek-Chiappetta; dear brother-in-law of Ron (Molly) Nykiel; dear uncle of Kaitlyn and Michael Chiappetta, Matthew (Nikki) Nykiel, Brad Nykiel, and Ali Nykiel. Chester was the owner and operator of the Manor Bakery, in Cicero, IL on 35th Street. Chester was a member and Officer Emeritus of the Chicago Area Retail Bakers Association. Chester was a member of SNPJ Lodge #S59. He enjoyed fishing and going to plays, but mostly loved spending time with his family.
