Hello. I'm not sure this is the Chuck Bennett I knew, but if it is, I played in a band with him and a guitarist named Bob Stamper in the early-mid 1980s. He was a singer too, and had a wife named June. I think I met his daughter once, Susan? It was outside a place where he was playing on the north side of Chicago, Pulaski Rd. I think. I am sorry for your loss. I still think of Chuck and what fun he was to be around. He was always smiling, a joy to be with and a terrific singer.

In My Heart
My heart is heavy
My tears not calm
My body is weak
no words, no psalm
Lord, comfort my soul and help me heal from this horrible loss that I feel
Still my heart from this ache and pain.
I can not wash it away like the rain
All I have now is my memories
My Father, my Friend, my Hero that is what my Dad was to me
I will miss his loving ways and all the that this great man gave.
Forever in my Heart is where he will stay
Dad, you will never be to far away.

(written by Lori Gerage)
With all my love and sympathy to Sue (Steve)and Family.
Love,
Lori G
