Charles Schuster Obituary

Schuster, Charles R. 86, of Monee, IL, formerly of Burnham, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret (Scobbie) Schuster; children, Terence (Debra) Schuster and Debra (Richard) Moore; grandchildren, Brian (Tracy), Mike, and Katelyn "1A" (John); great-grandchildren, Emma "1B" and Gracie "1C". He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1958. He was a memberof VFW Post 8141, the American Legion Post 1200, and the Korean War Veterans Association. He retired as a steelworker from Youngstown Sheet and Tube and service representative from CE Refractories.He beamed with pride when he was with his family sharing stories of the past. Charles was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was selfless and loving and will live forever in our hearts.Private memorial to be held.
