Ruiz, Charles R. "Chuck" Age 82. Late of DeMotte, Indiana, formerly of South Chicago. Passed away December 8, 2018. Beloved husband of Amy (nee Cerda) for 54 years; loving father of Kimjennifer (Patrick) Fogarty, Pam Ruiz, Carla Chmielewski, and Carlos Ruiz; cherished grandfather of Keegan, Kyle, Maddison, Autumn, Bobby, Ricky, Jordan, Chase, Kayla, and Carlos; dearest great-grandfather of Brooke, Ricky, Everly; dear brother of the late Louis (Eva), John (Mary Lou), Peter (late Irma), Mary (Hector), Chela, Rita (Gilbert), Daniel (Gertrude), and Joe (Benilda); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Chuck was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Union Local # 1693. He was a former employee of Wisconsin Steel.
