Queenan, Charles William age 71, of Glenview, loving husband of Sheila Dixon (nee Carey); loving father of Michael (Madelon), Anne, and the late James Queenan; proud grandfather of Michael, Kathleen, and Claire Queenan; fond brother of Joan (the late George) McClellan, Jane (Thomas) Steen and John (Carrrie) Queenan; fond uncle to many. Visitation Friday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Donnellan Family Funeral Home 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Athanasius Church, 1615 Lincoln St., Evanston. Interment Calvary Cemetery. I have worked long distance for 6 years with Chuck for the well-being and support of a mutual client. Chuck was a most kind, gentle, caring human being. All Family and Friends,
Chuck was a kind and thoughtful soul who did his best to help and care for others. He did this because he enjoyed his family, friends and people in general so much. He will no longer be at our morning camradery at McDonald's, but most certainly will not be forgotten.
There were many facets of Chuck's life. I am very interested in finding out more about this very special person who touched our lives.
My family and I are deeply saddened by his loss and wish our heartfelt sympathies to his Sheila, Mike, Ann and the rest of his family.
