Charles Cecil Lira, 80, Ret. Lieutenant CFD, U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Petro). Loving father of Katie Lira Luna (Cesar), and Charles Lira. Dear grandfather of Nico and Maximo Luna. Fond Brother of Annie Lira-Murillo (Edmund), Shirley (Jesse) Villarreal and Robert "Bobby" (Colleen) Lira. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 3-8 pm at Donnellan Funeral Home, 10525 S. Western Ave., Chicago. Funeral Monday 9 am from the funeral home to St. Barnabas Church, 10134 S. Longwood Dr. for Mass 10 am.
