Just a few years back, about 24 give or take a year; I met Bob Drew who became a best friend and confidant to me. A year or two later, I first met Charlie. A remarkable man in his mid 60's at the time, he was busy running marathons, cheering on "Da Bears" every Sunday during the season at Bob and Lynn's house, and generally enjoying life. That went on for many years. Charlie lived a long and full life with many blessings and caring people around him. His children and grandchildren were his joy and are his legacy. I am thankful to have known Charlie and his legacy is a blessing to me. Thank you Charlie. Rest in peace.

PopPop was a wonderful, loving grandfather. I will always have many fond memories of him. He was my favorite babysitter. He'd let me stay up late and sing Silent Night to me.

All of my memories of Charlie are good ones and they will continue to be that way! We are all following Charlie "down the path."

I am just happy we had a chance to spend some very good times together and share some of the great things this world has to offer.
