Charles Cox Obituary
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was preceded in death by father, Charlie Cox; grandparents, Floyd and Minnie Cox and Mattie and Wes Long; and grandsons, Christopher Blake Killen and Briley Kase Carter.
Survivors include daughters, Kim Cox Killen, Bonnertown, Tenn., Brandi Cox Carter, St. Joseph, Tenn., and Misti Cox Fox and husband Adam, Houston; mother, Atha Lee Cox, Kingston; grandchildren, Tanner Edwin Killen, Five Points, Tenn., Kyle Daniel Carter, St. Joseph, and Zachary Austin Janak, Houston; sister, Anita Inmon and husband Kenneth, Kingston; brother, Tony Cox and wife Diane, Prattville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in the Kyker Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Burkhart officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bradbury Cemetery, with military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
