Dear Janet, Adam, Ellen, and Erin,

I was truly sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. For two or three years, Charlie and I shared the duty of facilitating conversations with a class of Saint Ignatius juniors and sophomores involved in Jesuit Identity Days. He was a conscientious and well-respected model of leadership, service, intellectual competence, and religious commitment. I valued our time together on those occasions and during various faculty meetings, retreats, and regular working days at Ignatius. God bless Charlie and each of you as you mourn his passing. I will be praying for him and for each of you in the days to come.

Sincerely yours,

Richard Blackwell, English Department (retired)

Dear Cornelius Family,

I'm a member of St. John's Parish, Winfield. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Charlie and I often were seated next to one another at mass at St. John's. I didn't know him personally, and that is my loss, but I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. The people of St. John's will be praying for him in the weeks to come. May the peace of Christ comfort you.

Sincerely,

Cecily Langellier
