Father,

I so miss you. Your sense of humor, your words of wisdom, your personality, just you being you!

Father,

I think of you often, miss your sense of humor, and working with you at St. James with Father Bohula.

You are a priest forever.

You made the world a much better place.

Love,

Fr Brennan was a wonderful Priest, A truely holy man. The parish St James was granted a huge gift when he joined for weekly mass. The church has witnessed the real pressence with Father Brennan.

I was privileged to serve with Father Brennan at St. James at Sag Bridge Church, Lemont, IL. Father had a unique, dry sense of humor - once you realized it, you were always on the alert for what he had to say. Father Brennan was a most religious man, imparting his theological insights to all of us - rare in today's day and age for a priest to do this - and we truly appreciated him for it.
When Father had his heart attack several years ago, while on the altar at St. James, I was most -privileged to be of assistance to him during his hospital stay and his rehab - it is during this time I saw Father as a truly holy man. We extend our sympathies to his Brothers in Christ, and to his sister - he so loved going back to his home in Canada. Father also was a retired Air Force Chaplain - something that he and Father Bohula "sparred" back and forth about, since Father Bohula was a retired Navy Chaplain! Father Brennan was a wonderful asset to the parishioners at St. James Church - he and Father Bohula were an unbeatable team - and we thank his Brothers in Christ for sharing Father Brennan with us!

Our deepest condolences to the Servite Community and to Father Brennan's family. We were privileged to have enjoyed Father Brennan's company and wit for many years as he was a boyhood friend of my father's. We are so saddened by his passing, but know he will be rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.

I am saddened to hear of Fr.Charlies passing. He taught me religion in 1950 at St. Philip High School. I met with Fr. Brennan many times over the years at the Alumni dinners which I presided over for 33 years.

My deepest consolences to Fr. Brennan's brother-friars, his family and friends and present and former parishioners of St. James at Sag Bridge. Fr. Brennan was a dear, dear friend to Fr. Bohula aside from his help at St. James. We were all blessed with his spirituality and guidance. But we were also fortunate to have Fr. Brennan reveal his lighter side. Many of us felt that if he didn't follow his first and most loved vocation as a priest, he could always find a job as a standup comedian.

You will be sorely missed. I know I now have another generous soul to help intercede for me.

Eternal rest Fr. Brennan. You deserve it.
