Family-Placed Death Notice

Charles James Bollech, 89, of Marietta died Saturday, June 7, 2003. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta with the Rev. Paul W. Berny officiating. Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. Mr. Bollech was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Helen McConaughey Bollech, and by his brothers, Walter and Tom. Survivors include his step-son, Dan McConaughey and his wife, Mary Emma Welch McConaughey of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Memmi and Tom Stubbs of Decatur, Dan McConaughey, Jr. and his wife, Francine Fevre of Chaucre, France, Warner and Allison McConaughey of Atlanta, Cynthia and David Weinrebe, Mark and Edie McConaughey, Helen and Steve Paradise, Julia and James Polana all of Rhode Island, Scott and Glenda McConaughey of Palmdale, Calif.; nieces and nephews, David, Tom, and Greg Bollech and Sonya Bollech Courtney. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jospeh Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street, Marietta, GA 30060 or the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
