Dear Chad,
I fondly remember you as the youngest member of the "Lilly boys" and the wonderful memories that you and your brothers provided for me and your mom. As I sit here today, I find that my eyes still tear up as I think of you and the special times we had in Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, and back home in Little Rock.
I am another year older and a bit closer to reuniting with you and filling you in on your mom, brothers and especially Connor. He has been a godsend for me and likely kept me from losing my mind. Sometimes when he's over, I can't help but think how his smile, looks, joking around, and constant playful nature remind me so much of you.
You left way too soon and left an empty spot that can only be filled by memories.
Love - Dad

Dear Son,
Today marks seven years that you've been gone. Seven very fast and sometimes trying years that have required a strength that I wasn't sure that I had. Feeling your presence each day has greatly benefited us all. Your family misses you very much each and every day and looks forward to seeing that smiling face of yours again.
I know that I will see you again soon and that thought is very comforting to me.
Because you were a special person, your absence has been very difficult but memories are extremely special. So, black duck, we will love you and miss you every single day until we are with you again.

Jim & Paulette,
It's hard to believe its been over a year since the loss of your amazing sweet Chad. I can still hear his laughter around the boys preparing for road trips in the van with AAU Bball. What a joyful group those guys were and how unselfish Chad was always when he was with those young men. What I loved most about Chad was the respect he had for other parents & how well he treated all of us , but always with a warm and friendly hug, not just a regular hello. Chad made you feel like you were a part of his family. Michael loved his fun sense of humor and his outlook on life - never taking things too seriously and getting upset with others. Chad had one huge heart & could see that in the way he treated others. We will always remember the wonderful impact he had on people & you should be proud as parents for raising such an amazing son. We love you both & have lifted you up in prayer and continue to ask God's divine comfort upon you as you journey through life w/o your precious son. May His peace bless you daily. Love, Lissa &

Hi, sweet Chad. Sitting here thinking of both you, and my sweet Casey. The times you all were together and laughter shared in life too. I just read your note on Casey's obit, and never dreamed I would be writing on yours one day after. But, you know what? It somehow gives me peace knowing that perhaps you are both together, looking in on those you love and trying your best, to bring peace and calm to those who grieve. Though the loss of someone such as a child, or sibling is something one never gets over, if we stop, listen to the quiet, hear a favorite song of theirs, see a beautiful sky, or witness a butterfly fluttering by, we will know our loved one is near to us. Sweet flights are what I wish to you Chad, and God's healing and comfort to your family and loved ones. Stan and Paula Graves.

Jim and Paulette-
Although it's been years since we have seen each other, we were saddened to hear of the loss of your son Chad, when Paulette called this morning. We know your loss, having lost our oldest son 14 years. While the pain of his loss gets easier, God will show his presence in the sweet memories you will always have of Chad in your hearts and minds. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With much love and friendship - Joe and Joyce Norton

May God comfort you in this time of loss. We did not know Chad, but the pain of loosing our 21 year old and our 20 year old sons give us a common bond with you. As time passes you will be able to remember the good times you shared more often than the feeling of loss. May his friends and your friends talk of Chad and remember him always to you.

The Lilly Family,
Chad and I met roughly 9 years ago at UALR and we quickly became friends. Soon, I would find myself with Chad backpacking through Europe in 2006, strengthening our friendship even more. The next few years I had the pleasure of Chad's company fairly often and enjoyed every minute of it, whether discussing politics, sports, or just life in general. Chad always seemed to have a smile on his face. I can still hear his voice so well. I am very sorry for your families loss. May God's love comfort you all during this time.

Dear Lilly family,
I had the pleasure of working with Chad from 2009 until late 2013. He was a very hard worker, very well liked by his coworkers and his clients. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that will stick in my mind forever. He loved, and spoke often about his family. He will be sorely missed. Alan Frazier, Pine Bluff, AR

My little brother - I cant even think of what to say here. So much is going through my mind. I really wanted to tell you that I love you more than anything. Losing you was like losing my brother and best friend all in one day. Please save some of the weights for me in heaven bc when I see you again we are gonna get a good workout in and talk about everything just like we did here on earth. People used to tell me that you were proud of me, yet in all honesty Chad I was the one who was proud of you. Me and Ryan will miss you more than I can say here.
Love you always

The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if to others, indeed, they seem punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself. Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with the elect.
