I worked with Ceil and Lois Elliott at Northwestern when I was right out of college in 1987. She was such a delightful person and always brightened my day. I remember teaching her how to use a computer for the first time! Ceil and Harold came to my wedding and were the first "grown up" guests at our first apartment. She was always so encouraging, and I will remember her fondly. Many sympathies at her loss...

My great Aunt Ceil was truly that, she was Great. She was a tremendous source of love and happiness to everyone she came across in life. And if it weren't for her my family would not be here. She introduced my parents to each other. In the last few years we spoke every couple months and she was always full of joy and inspiration. I will love and hold a dear place in my heart always for her wonderful smile and beautiful soul.

Ceil was my great aunt on my fathers side.
She treated me more like a grandson.
She had unlimited energy and was and extremely educated and cultured woman.
You will be hard pressed to find anyone who would say anything bad about her.
There was nothing bad about her.
I will miss her very much.

We were so sorry to hear of Ceil's death. She remained a good friend to our mother Layle Packer, for so many years, even when most of our mother's circle had diminished. She was a lovely women and always a pleasure to be with. Our sympathies to your family during this difficult time.
