To the Carreon family
I am so sorry that Celeste has died. I grieve this loss with you. She was such a special person. I knew Celeste through our parish CCD program. She taught CCD for many years - she even coordinated a grade level for several years. What I liked most about Celeste was her ability to make everyone laugh. She was so witty - very sincere and genuine. Her faith was important to her and she sharred it with hundreds of children over the years. When Ray retired, Celeste retired from teaching CCD. Someone asked her, "What are you going to do now?" She replied, "Well my husband is retired now so I'm just going to let him chase me all around the house." We had quite a laugh. Not too long ago a dear friend of mine (and my daughter) moved to Chicago and one day they met doing laundry. Asking each other, "Where are you from?" Omaha "Where did you live?" west by St. Wenceslaus and "Do you know Kay?" and they both couldn't believe how closely they lived to each other and they knew me. Small world. I am reminded of this quote from scripture: Isaiah 55:6-9
"Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call upon God while he is still near;
let the wicked forsake their way,
and the unrighteous their thoughts;
let them return to the Lord,
that he may have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
FOR MY THOUGHTS ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS,
NOR ARE YOUR WAYS MY WAYS, says the Lord.
For just as the heavens are higher than your ways,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."

we don't know why; we don't understand
but we have faith
and faith will guide us
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
