Cecilia Ogarek Obituary
Ogarek (nee Cahill), Cecilia "Ceil" Mary, Age 78, passed away while surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Joseph Ogarek (Ret. CPD Sgt. 001); loving mother to Margaret "Peg" Ogarek, Joseph Ogarek, Catherine "Katie" Ogarek, and the late Mary Ogarek; cherished sister to Michael (Connie) Cahill, Hugh (Maureen) Cahill, James Cahill, Patrick Cahill and daughter of the late Margaret and Leslie Cahill. Ceil was a favorite aunt, adoring great-aunt, fond cousin to many, and a cherished friend to all who knew her. Ceil raised her family in the Brighton Park neighborhood while she worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County and later as a sales manager at Watra Church Goods, loving every minute of her life. Ceil enjoyed traveling the world but mostly relished the time she spent with her family. Ceil will be remembered for her bright smile, engaging laugh, and welcoming spirit. Visitation: Wednesday, March 30, 2022, 3-9 p.m.; Funeral Thursday, March 31, 2022, from Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home &Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave (2 mi west of 79th & Harlem), Justice, IL to St. Daniel the Prophet, 5300 S.
