Catherine L. (Smart) Morin, 78, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, co-owner of the Jethro the Scarecro booth at Big E for 17 years, died at a local nursing home on Saturday, October 6, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 8, 2001, 5-9 p.m., at Hafey East Longmeadow Chapels, 120 Shaker Road, East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. Mass will be offered on Tuesday, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Church, Springfield.
