Catherine Kelly Obituary

Catherine T. Kelly, of Warwick, a homemaker and over 40-year resident of the area, formerly of Brooklyn, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 with her family by her side. She was 82.

The daughter of John and Maria Canavan Conboy, she was born on June 27, 1922 in Brooklyn.

She was a member of St. Stephen Church in Warwick.

Survivors include her husband Patrick Kelly at home and her children, Karen Raymond and her husband Joe, Brian Kelly and his wife Debra, Patricia Roppolo, Marianne Sicina and her husband Herman and Nancy Pennings and her husband Richard; 11 grandchildren Dawn, Heather, Michael, Chasity, Maria, Brieanna, Jessica, Rick, Kevin, Colleen, Cailin; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Shylar, Gillian, Dylan, MacKenzie, Angelina and Ashlyn; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, James Kelly; her brother, John Conboy and her sisters, Mary Beckert, Ellen Conboy and Alice Gerstner.

Visitation hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 at the Strong-Basile Funeral Home, 75 Main St., Warwick.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25 at the St. Stephen's R.C. Church, Warwick.

Burial will be at Warwick Cemetery in Warwick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Warwick Ambulance Corp.
