Dear Duffy family and friends, I wanted to send deepest sympathies from myself and all the staff at Dr. Atieh's clinic. I have known Kitty for the last year and a half and in that time I have grown to care for her immensely. I will miss her dearly and I will think of her everytime I wear the necklace that she gave me. I pray that she is in peace. May god bless you all at this most difficult time.

Dear Duffy's,
Jason emailed of your beloved Mom's home going. Jason loved her as a mom as did Sue and the boys. We want you to know we grieve with you and will be praying for you all.

Mo, Eileen, and James, it saddens all of us Duffy's here in VA to hear of Kitty's passing. Wish we could be with you in this sad time but suffice to say our thoughts are with you. One last thought, I was just remarking to my mother...that I always thought that Aunt Kitty's roast beef was better the Marce's. Wish I'd had the chance to share that with Kitty...she'd love that!

Maureen, Eileen and Jimmy, I am deeply sorry for your loss. When God made "Aunt Kitty" He knew there would be no other person like her. I will always remember Kitty telling her stories while sitting in Chuck and Kathy's kitchen. They were always good for a laugh. I will also remember her smile and she always had a kiss for you every time you saw her. I'm sure she is smiling down on you and her extended family right now.
With much love, Mary Kay Peters

Kitty was a wonderful lady that was an "adopted mom" to my whole family. She was a courageous, tough fighter that didn't give up. We will never forget the times we spent with her. We consider it an honor that we have been able to be a part of the Duffy family.
Maureen, Eileen and Jim--we wish we were closer so we could be with you right now. Please realize that we will be praying for you, and know that we love you all very much. Mom will always be in our hearts.
