Casimer Kozlowski Obituary
Casimer "Moe" Kozlowski (Ret. C.P.D.), age 83. Lifelong resident of South Chicago, passed away October 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Judith (nee Kukulski) for 58 years. Loving father of Kathy (Roy) Hellesto, Ken (Megan) Kozlowski and Kristen (John) Lyons. Devoted grandfather of Michael (Ashley) Husar, Jaclyn (Kaila) Husar, Will and Emily Lyons. Cherished great-grandfather of Viola Husar. Dearest brother of Henrietta (late Joe) Mularski, JoAnn Taylor, Rita (late Jerry) Gwizdalski, late John, late Al (Delphine), late Stanley "Coachie", late Lorraine (late Gene) Kasznia and late Frank (late Claudia) Kozlowski. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Beloved companion to his dog Kandy. Veteran of U.S. Navy and proud Seabee. Moe was a dedicated officer for 38 years with the Chicago Police Department. Member of the F.O.P. Lodge #7 and Polish American Police Association (PAPA). Visitation Sunday, 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, October 10, 2022 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Moe was one of the first police officers I had the pleasure of working with in the early `70s. He taught me patience and how to diffuse situations before they got out of control. He will be truly missed! My condolences to the family.
